Can you guarantee my teeth will whiten ?
The Zoom! Teeth Whitening procedure is guaranteed by Enhance Dental to make tooth enamel go lighter. This will be thoroughly documented by use of accurate and standardised shade guide tabs. How does Zoom! 3 Advanced Power Teeth Whitening work ?
The Zoom! In-surgery Tooth Whitening System consists of a halide lamp filtered to emit light in the 350nm - 400nm range.
Unlike other systems the Zoom! light generates minimal heat which helps make the procedure comfortable.
The Zoom light activated gel was developed after years of research by Discus Dental, the leaders in professional tooth whitening. The gel is a proprietary scientifically formulated, pH balanced Hydrogen Peroxide that, when activated by the Zoom! light, gently penetrates the teeth to remove deep stains and discoloration. The Zoom! light aids in activating the Hydrogen Peroxide and helps it penetrate the surface of the tooth. As the Hydrogen Peroxide gel is broken down, oxygen enters the enamel. The production of highly saturated oxygen from the hydrogen peroxide gel breaks down the size of long chained molecules that stain tooth enamel. (Examples of these molecules are coffee, tea, tobacco, chocolate, red wine, sauce and beetroot.) How long does Zoom! 3 Advanced Power Teeth Whitening take ?
Enhance Dental understands that most dental surgery's will tell you that the whole procedure will take less than one hour, however to get fantastic results, quality and service we allow at least 90 minutes to do the the best Zoom whitening treatment possible.The actual amount of time the proprietary Zoom light is shining on your teeth is between 45 to 60 minutes. The complete procedure, however requires 90 minutes. This begins with a preparation period of around 25 minutes followed by one hour of bleaching. A five minute fluoride treatment completes the procedure.

Most patients watch a current DVD movie we have available through our cinematic movie glasses. The whole experience is then a whole lot more enjoyable and the time goes much faster.Also the movie glasses can be used for any longer dental procedures done at Enhance Dental. These help you to relax and enjoy a high-tech virtual wide screen cinema movie during the Zoom whitening procedure. You will be amazed at how much faster time goes and you will almost forget about the Zoom whitening or dental treatment.
We have over 40 DVD movie titles to choose from, both popular and current titles. Otherwise you can bring your own DVD movie or CD. For others who may prefer music, we also have piped music for a relaxing diversion.

How white will my teeth become ?
The results are spectacular. Clinical studies have shown that the Zoom teeth whitening treatment achieves up to 12 shades lighter with the average being 8 shades.
